Challenges in Acquiring English

Its been a while since I started to create an entry. So, this is my second entry and I'm sure it will be a quite boring because I'll be writing about something related to English Language. Lets move on to 'interesting' part which is '10 Challenges that we face in acquiring English'.

1. Grammar
Majority of them have a big problems with grammar. So do I. Actually, you can't imagine how I hate grammar. LOL. But it is a negative vibes right? By hook or by crook I'll try to 'love' grammar. English grammar is complex, making it difficult to remember, master and use logically. Sometimes, it can be tricky.

2. Lack of vocabulary
English is one of the biggest vocabularies of all languages, so it can be very confusing for us to master it. We are not too interested in exploring vocab. So thats the reason why we are facing such difficulties to become an expert in English.

3. Having obstacles with slang
Actually students are rarely exposed to the slang words used by English speaker. So do I. But we can just speak as what we used to. Why bother? Slang is not a big deal but try to bear with it. Try to overcome the difficulties and yes you are in the right path dude!

4. Pronounciation
Sometimes it is difficult to pronounce certain words properly. Maybe it takes time for us to fluently use it. Keep practicing for a great improvement. Keep pronounce correctly and clearly because it will guide us to a better version English person maybe.... Lol

5. Variations in English
Sometimes we are having difficulties to understand. For example, difference between using formal and informal language also between spoken and writing language. It's confusing. Why not we just make it simple guys. I know you can do it. So fighting!

6. Rarely used English in daily life
This is the most obvious challenges in acquiring English. We are not prefer to speak English because we keep thinking that it will be less understandable. From rarely let's change to often or always. Come on guys!!!

7. Low self-esteem

 How we deal with this? It is something that we can bear with but it needs strength and determination. How  could we. Lol. Whatever it is do have confidence in yourself because its really help you not just now but also in our future soon.

8. How to arrange sentences/words correctly
Sometimes we are just too shame to speak in English. We thought that when we speak people will not understand what we're trying to express. Thats the problem that I face though. I'm sick of it but it just fine if we just go with the flow. Try. Try. And keep trying. Most importantly, make sure you know what you're trying to say.

9. Attitude
A bad attitude is like a flat tires. If you don't change it, you'll never go anywhere. Just like us, laziness and human are meant to be together. So, bear with it. No one can change you accept you yourself. Yes.

10. Having problem in exploring 'Dictionary'
Absolutely. Dictionary is one of the significant sources that can help you strive excellently in English but if you are out of this you are actually in a dangerous state. Beware of it!!! Sound serious right? But it just the truth that is undeniable. Try to make dictionary as one of your 'bestfriend' and I guarantee that English is just at your fingertips.


I think that all I can write for this time. I'm just lack of idea of what I'm creating throughout this entry. ^^
